I have a quick question, i bought my XBOX Slim Corona V2 with RGH, the seller never provided me the original dump file, and i have the "Play DVD" issue, it may seem that has been compiled from scratch with the "Disable FCRT.bin check" so dumping and de-selecting it wont solve the issue since already has been patched, is there any way to make dvd disk games to work? Flashing the Drive, or anything?
DVD-Key seems fine, FCRT.bin it's present on the already hacked dump.

Some bad sectors on Hdd are normal, and you have no need to worry. You can try to use your modded Hdd at another Xbox 360 to see, If the reason for this is your Hdd, or there is another (hardware) problem. Or you have another compatible Hdd close to you to try.

greets.

The HDD does have 3 "Reallocated Bad Blocks" on it as detected by my Active SMART Windows application. Perhaps this is the reason? However the application says that the HDD is in Good Health and Good Performance. The write and read speeds are all normal, the HDD works at about 100MB/s. I can copy files on it as if everything is fine with normal speeds, etc.

As for the formatting on Xbox, I already tried to format it on Xbox first and since it does nothing, only after that, I reconnected it to my PC and formatted on my PC. Anyway yes its the same bin file. However how should I proceed? Should I first restore it then rehack it with your file or can I just proceed to rehack with your file on top of the already hacked HDD?

Or should I just abandon everything because the issue is those pesky 3 bad sectors?

Thanks

Your WD5000BEVT HDD is listed as compatible Hdd for HDDHackr. It should be working. Maybe something is going wrong in the flashing process, or your Hdd is corrupt

I connected my HDD to my computer and my computer sees the HDD now as Hitachi, not as Western Digital anymore. Is this normal???

Yeah this is allright, because the Hdd Cfw, is based from a dumped Hitachi Hdd. You can try my 500 GB  hddss.bin, but It should be the same file. Flash you Hdd again and format it on your Xbox 360, not on your PC. If you format you Xbox 360 HDD on your PC, it overrides the security sector and your Xbox 360 wont detect your Hdd

I NEED HELP! I have a WD5000BEVT HDD, did everything in HDDHackr then when I connected the HDD to my Xbox 360 E it says "unformatted". Naturally I formatted the drive with the console (asked me for serial and everything) then guess what, no matter how many times I format it, it still says "unformatted". I connected my HDD to my computer and my computer sees the HDD now as Hitachi, not as Western Digital anymore. Is this normal???

I went to Computer Management and the HDD was unallocated, I formatted the HDD as EXFAT and connected it to my Xbox. Still same issue, it says the HDD is unformatted. This is the BIN file I used for this HDD: https://digiex.net/threads/xbox-360-500gb-hard-drive-security-sector-download-hddss-bin-hddss500gb-bin.13433/

Is this a wrong bin file?? If yes, can someone please help me and send me the correct bin file so I can reflash it?? I still have my undo file so if all else fails then I guess I will just reflash it with original firmware and be done with this annoying stuff!!

Thanks

Your Xbox 360 didnt boot again ?
Im not really sure what is going wrong. Maybee in the dumping process something is crashed. If you had no Backup of your Xbox 360 Nand, you can use a donor Image from other Xbox 360. You need a hardware flasher (you have to solder) to flash your Xbox 360 Image back to your Xbox.

no its' not .
any good tutorial how it can be done ?
