Try it out, hddhackr should recognize the hddss.bin file. If not, download the hddss.bin File from the trusted sites.

I'm having trouble finding the correct hddss.bin file for a WD1600BJKT - 160GB.  I downloaded an rar file that had 13 or so bin files for 160GB disks, none of them were listed as specifically for the WD1600BJKT - 160GB.  I tried them all with now success.  Any help appreciated!

There is no special version for each HD, the hard drive must be compatible only to HDDHackr. Use a hddss.bin  from a trustet Site, such as Xbins.

Seeing as the official sizes are:

20GB
60GB
120GB
250GB
320GB
500GB

160GB shouldn't exist...

I take it before my post, but there is only BEKT series and this disk don`t sale anymore. New series is BEKX. My question is there a new Compatibility list or new version of HDDHACKR? And finally is there major different between BEKT and BEKX?
Sorry if my post is stupid for you, but :) i want to upgrade my console too :)

HDDHackr v1.40 is the latest Version, there is no newer one.  I cant say anything about the differences, between the two Hds (BEKT and BEKX) series.
